CALL FOR PARTICIPATION
AiML-2004
Advances in Modal Logic
September 9-11, 2004, Manchester
EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: July 12, 2004
DEADLINE FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS: July 6, 2004
Advances in Modal Logic is an initiative aimed at presenting
an up-to-date picture of the state of the art in modal logic
and its many applications. The initiative consists of a
conference series together with volumes based on the
conferences.
AiML-2004 is the fifth conference organized as part of
this initiative. It will be held September 9-11, 2004 in
Manchester, UK.
The co-located TARSKI Workshop will take place on September
12-13 at the same venue.
PROGRAMME
A list of accepted papers and the timetable will appear on
the conference website shortly.
The invited speakers include:
o Philippe Balbiani (Toulouse, France)
o Keith Devlin (Stanford, USA)
o Valentin Goranko (Johannesburg, Rep. South Africa)
o Wiebe van der Hoek (Liverpool, UK)
o Maarten Marx (Amsterdam, The Netherlands)
o Robert Stalnaker (MIT, USA)
GRANTS
There is a small number of grants available for students and
participants from economically less well off countries. The
deadline for applying for these grants is the 6th of July
2004. Please refer to the conference webpage for details.
REGISTRATION
Early registration for AiML-2004 has begun. To register for
the conference please go to

and follow the link to the registration form. Early
registration closes on July 12th. The webpage also contains
information about accommodation and travel.
