Dear colleagues,

I would like to share the call for applications for the *SWSA Distinguished
Dissertation Award 2026*, organized by the Semantic Web Science Association.

This award recognizes outstanding doctoral research in the areas of *Semantic
Web, knowledge graphs, and the intersection of semantics, data, and the Web*.
The award will be presented at the International Semantic Web Conference
2026, which will take place in Bari from *October 25–29, 2026*.

*Eligibility:*
Doctoral dissertations must:

   -

   Have been awarded between *January 1, 2025 and June 30, 2026*
   -

   Present original and impactful research related to the Semantic Web
   -

   Not have been previously nominated for this award

*Submission deadline:* *July 6, 2026*

   A 5-page summary (LNCS format)
   -

   List of related publications (with links)

   A confirmation letter from the supervisor or institution
