[DL] EDBT-INTENDED School on Data and Knowledge (Applications to participate due April 3)

Dear all,

This is a reminder of the approaching deadline (April 3rd) for applications to attend the 
EDBT-INTENDED summer school, to be held July 4-9 in beautiful Bordeaux. 

The school features 11 tutorials from internationally renowned researchers on topics at the 
interface between databases and logic-based KR, including two lectures given by prominent 
DL researchers (Carsten Lutz and Diego Calvanese). 

While the school mainly targets students and postdocs, we expect to have enough spots to 
also welcome some more experienced researchers, so everyone who is interested in 
attending should not hesitate to apply.

The EDBT association and INTENDED AI Chair are happy to announce a jointly sponsored 
Summer School on Data and Knowledge, which will be hosted in Bordeaux, France, from 
Monday July 4 to Saturday July 9, 2022. The school will cover a diverse range of topics 
around foundational database theory and the use of knowledge (constraints, ontologies) in 
data management, with a special focus on inconsistent, incomplete and more generally 
"imperfect" data.     
                
We invite students, postdocs, and other researchers interested in learning about the foundational 
aspects of databases and handling imperfect data to participate in the summer school.
