AIMS AND SCOPE
This special issue seeks high-quality papers focusing on the frontiers of human intelligence mining toward building a body of knowledge in this key domain. The focus is to present state-of-the-art in mining collective intelligence and knowledge exploration and development related to methodologies, techniques, approaches and successful applications. We seek to receive research papers focusing on learning to explore smart and intelligent systems. The contributions of this special issue have to mark a paradigm shift from "data-centered pattern mining" to "domain-driven actionable knowledge Discovery (AKD)" for next-generation Knowledge discovery in Databases (KDD) research and applications. The special issue has to identify how mining human intelligence techniques can better contribute to critical domain problems in practice, and strengthen society intelligence in complex problems. It also focuses on challenges and directions for future mining human intelligence research and development. This special issue is open to new original research submissions in the area of Collective Intelligence and Knowledge Exploration.
