2015 Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence

Student Symposium
As part of the 2015 Australasian Joint Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI-15), we invite Honors, Masters, and PhD students to apply for participation in the AI-15 Student Symposium, occurring just before the main conference on November 30th, 2015.
This symposium provides unique opportunities for early career researchers to make the most of AI-15 via,

*         Presentations about building a career in research

*         Participation in the student research poster session

*         Access to the AI-15 mentorship program

*         Networking activities with other early career researchers
Important Dates:
Submission deadline:

Wednesday 30 September 2015 (strict deadline)

Notification deadline:

Thursday 15 October 2015

Student Symposium:

Monday 30 November 2015


Eligibility and Application:
The symposium is open to all students who are presently pursuing a career in research.  This includes currently enrolled PhD students, Masters students with a significant research component, and Honors students.  Interested applicants should prepare three documents: (1) a one page CV, (2) a paragraph outlining their current or planned research and (3) a signed letter of support from their supervisor.  The letter of support should briefly discuss how the applicant will benefit from participating in the Student Symposium.  The CV should include the country, university of study, and expected completion date of the student.

Submissions can be made via easy-chair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ai2015ss). Please complete the submission form as follows,

*         Author 1 - your contact details

*         Title - your tag line

*         Abstract - a paragraph outlining your current / planned research

*         Keywords - list your subject areas of interest

*         Paper - upload your CV (pdf)

*         Attachment - upload a letter of support from your supervisor (pdf,jpg)
