CFP: Special issue of the Journal on Data Semantics (JoDS)

WEB REASONING AND RULE SYSTEMS


On the occasion of the 8th International Conference on Web Reasoning
and Rule Systems (RR 2014), this special issue will collect original 
research contributions on the major topics of the conference, which 
include all areas of Web Reasoning, with an emphasis on combinations 
with Rule Systems.

Submissions may include, but are not restricted to, extended RR 2014 
conference papers (both full papers and technical communications).

Topics of particular interest are:

 * Semantic Web, rule and ontology languages, and related logics
 * Reasoning, querying, searching and optimization
 * Incompleteness, inconsistency and uncertainty
 * Non-monotonic, commonsense, and closed-world reasoning for the Web
 * Dynamic information, stream reasoning and complex event processing
 * Decision making, planning, and intelligent agents
 * Machine learning, knowledge extraction and information retrieval
 * Data management, data integration and reasoning on the web of data
 * Ontology-based data access
 * System descriptions, applications and experiences



Submissions

Deadline: January 15, 2015

Submissions have to be formatted according to the journal's guidelines at 

http://www.springer.com/13740  

and have to be uploaded into Springer's Electronic Management System at 

https://www.editorialmanager.com/jods

Note that you need to request an account on the website for submitting 
a paper. Please indicate in the cover letter that it is for the 
"Web Reasoning and Rule Systems" special issue.
