<div>NEW SUBMISSION DEADLINE: October 16, 2026 (EST)</div>
<div>###############################################################</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Overview</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>The topic of the track covers an important field of research in Artificial Intelligence: KRR is indeed a trending topic (for instance, its Argumentation-theory subfield). A similar dedicated conference is the International Conference on Principles of Knowledge
 Representation and Reasoning, but all the major conferences in AI (e.g., AAAI, IJCAI, AAMAS, ECAI) have KRR among their topics of interest. The KRR track will be a venue for all researchers and practitioners working on the fundaments, but also applications,
 of reasoning, and for the cross-fertilization among different approaches (e.g., Argumentation and Belief Revision).</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Scope</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Knowledge-representation and Reasoning (KRR) is the field of artificial intelligence that focuses on designing computer representations that capture information about the world that can be used to solve complex problems. Its goal is to understand and build
 intelligent behavior from the top down, focusing on what an agent needs to know with the purpose to behave intelligently, how this knowledge can be represented symbolically, and how automated reasoning procedures can make this knowledge available as needed.
 In KRR a fundamental assumption is that an agent's knowledge is explicitly represented in a declarative form, suitable for processing by dedicated reasoning engines.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Submissions</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>We would like to invite authors to submit papers on research in the KRR area, with particular emphasis on assessing the current state of the art and identifying future directions. Original papers addressing any of the listed topics of interest, or related
 topics, will be considered. Each submitted paper will be fully refereed and undergo a double-blind review process by at least three referees. Accepted papers will be included in the ACM SAC 2027 proceedings and published in the ACM Digital Library.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Submissions fall into the following categories:</div>
<div> - Original and unpublished research work</div>
<div> - Reports of innovative computing applications in the arts, sciences, engineering, and business areas</div>
<div> - Reports of successful technology transfer to new problem domains</div>
<div> - Reports of industrial experience and demos of new innovative systems</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Regular Paper Submissions</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Submissions should be properly anonymised to facilitate blind reviewing. The author(s) name(s) and address(es) must not appear in the body of the paper, and all self-references should be written in the third person.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Please check the Author Kit and LaTeX style files available on the main SAC website. The required format is based on the ACM templates. Submissions that do not comply with the formatting or length requirements may be subject to immediate rejection.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>All submissions must be made electronically via the EasyChair platform:</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=sac2027</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>All manuscripts must initially be submitted as regular papers. There is no separate submission category for poster papers. Papers receiving high-quality reviews but not accepted as regular papers due to space or acceptance-rate limitations may be invited
 to participate in the poster session.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Accepted Papers Instructions</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Accepted papers must fit within eight (8) two-column pages, with the option for up to 2 additional pages at additional cost.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>A second set of selected papers, which did not get accepted as full papers, will be accepted as posters, limited to 2 pages with the option for up to 1 additional page at additional cost.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Authors of accepted papers must pay the registration fee and guarantee that their paper will be presented at the conference. No-show of scheduled papers will result in excluding the papers from the ACM Digital Library.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Important Dates</div>
