  <h3>Summer School on NLP in the Age of Complex Networks and Agentic AI</h3>

  <p>The 17th in the series of EUROLAN biennial Schools on Natural Language Processing</p>

  <h4>Content and Goals</h4>
  <p>EUROLAN-2025 will bring together researchers and experts in 
  <strong>machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), reasoning systems, and computational linguistics</strong>
  applied to natural language processing (NLP), with a special focus on the interaction between NLP, complex networks, and agentic AI.</p>

  <p>Following the tradition of previous EUROLAN schools (<a href="https://conferences.info.uaic.ro/eurolan/2025/?page_id=14023">see past editions</a>), 
  the programme will include:</p>
  <ul>
    <li>Tutorials, offering in-depth insights into key concepts</li>
    <li>Hands-on exercises, applying lecture content to real-world problems and developing small-scale applications</li>
    <li>Brainstorming discussions, encouraging direct interaction with experts and fostering collaborative discussions</li>
    <li>Networking and social evenings</li>
    <li>City tour, gala dinner, excursion</li>
  </ul>

  <p>EUROLAN is open to master's and PhD students as well as young researchers and practitioners. Exceptional undergraduates with a strong interest in Complex Networks, Agentic AI, and NLP are also welcome.</p>

  <h4>School Structure and Topics</h4>
  <ul>
    <li>Graph-Based Representations of Text and Knowledge</li>
    <li>Social Network Analysis for Linguistic Modeling</li>
    <li>Influence Propagation and Discourse Dynamics in Online Platforms</li>
    <li>Multimodal NLP: Integrating Text, Image, and Speech Processing</li>
    <li>NLP and Agentic AI</li>
  </ul>

  <p>The School will include a half-day visit in the city of Timișoara and a half-day excursion to the West Romanian Region, where participants will discover cultural sites and traditions (including local food and wine).</p>

  <h4>Registration and Fees</h4>
  <p>Those interested in attending should fill in the registration form available 
  <a href="https://conferences.info.uaic.ro/eurolan/2025/?page_id=13973">here</a> no later than <strong>31 August 2025</strong>.
  For a reduced fee, please apply before <strong>15 August 2025</strong> by sending your CV, a letter of intent, and an abstract to Adrian Spătaru: <a href="mailto:adrian.spataru@e-uvt.ro">adrian.spataru@e-uvt.ro</a>. Since the number of participants is limited,  you will be contacted shortly after registration concerning acceptance.</p>

  <p><strong>Fees:</strong></p>
  <ul>
    <li>Students: 500 EUR</li>
    <li>Non-students: 600 EUR</li>
  </ul>

  <p>The fee provides access to all tutorials and hands-on sessions and includes materials, coffee breaks, lunches, and social events. 
  Accommodation is not included.</p>

  </ul>

  <h4>SYNASC Related Event</h4>
  <p>EUROLAN-2025 is closely coordinated with 
  <a href="https://synasc.ro/2025/">SYNASC-2025</a>, held 22-25 September 2025 at the West University of Timișoara. 
  Students with accepted papers in SYNASC or its workshops receive a 50% EUROLAN fee reduction. PhD students are encouraged to submit to the PhD Special Session.</p>

  <h4>Accommodation</h4>
  <p>Low-cost accommodation will be available in the University's hostel (single or double rooms). 
  Alternatively, participants can book hotels in Timișoara (<a href="https://conferences.info.uaic.ro/eurolan/2025/?page_id=13978">list here</a>).</p>
