The goal is to develop a new generation of knowledge graph technology that allows to automatically update evolving models of the environment as the robot perceives changes in the world. The dynamic contextual knowledge graphs will support robots in reasoning about changes in the world and to update internal models of the environment to provide contextualisation for external events. </div><div style="font-size:18px"><br></div><div style="font-size:18px">Position requirements:</div><div style="font-size:18px">- MSc in computer science, software engineering, intelligent systems or related field</div><div style="font-size:18px">- demonstrated ability to work scientifically (e.g. through Master thesis or publications)</div><div style="font-size:18px">- strong analytical, conceptual and communicative skills</div><div style="font-size:18px">- ability to work in a larger team</div><div style="font-size:18px">- strong programming skills</div><div style="font-size:18px"><br></div><div style="font-size:18px">The following aspects are a plus:</div><div style="font-size:18px">- experience with knowledge graphs, ontologies, Semantic Web technology </div><div style="font-size:18px">- experience with the development of robotic platforms</div><div style="font-size:18px"><br></div><div style="font-size:18px">The position is available for three years starting from January 2023 and offers the possibility to earn a PhD degree. The group offers an intellectually stimulating and international environment with sufficient freedom to pursue own research interests. There is no teaching involved.
