<html><head></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">The Data and Knowledge Management (DKM) Research Unit of the Bruno Kessler Foundation, Trento, Italy, is offering a 30 months research position.<br><br>The successful candidate will work primarily on: (i) the development of multilingual ontologies and (ii) the customization of MoKi: the modeling wiki system (<a href="http://moki.fbk.eu/">moki.fbk.eu</a>) for the acquisition and representation of multilingual knowledge in the context of organic agriculture. The activities will be carried out within the EU ICT PSP Organic.Lingua project (<a href="http://www.organic-lingua.eu/">www.organic-lingua.eu</a>), whose aim is to show the potential of multilingual Web portals for Sustainable Agricultural & Environmental Education. The activity will require the customization of MoKi to represent multilingual information, the integration of MoKi with the services required by the Organic.Lingua portal and the interaction of MoKi with linguistic tools and services providing translation services.<br><br>The candidate is expected to work in collaboration with other researchers, programmers, and students involved in this and other related projects within the DKM unit and FBK. For more information on DKM visit <a href="http://dkm.fbk.eu/">dkm.fbk.eu</a>.<br><br>The ideal candidate should have:<br>* Master of PhD degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering;<br>* Solid background in semantic web and conceptual modeling;<br>* Solid skills in software development;<br>* Previous software development experience<br>* Good knowledge of English (oral and written)<br><br>Additional requirements:<br>* Skills in knowledge representation and logic;<br>* Ability to work in a collaborative environment and deliver in research projects<br><br>Type of contract: Research position (R4 level) for two and a half years.
