<DIV>The Fourth International Conference on Web Engineering will be<BR>organised
and hosted by the Institute for Informatics of
the<BR>Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. The ICWE'04
Conference<BR>continues the tradition of ICWE'03 in Oviedo, Spain, ICWE'02
in<BR>Santa Fé, Argentina and ICWE'01 in Cáceres, Spain.</DIV>

<DIV>The ICWE'04 conference aims at bringing together the
international<BR>community of experts in Web Engineering research, practice
and<BR>education, to share their experiences and to foster discussion on<BR>the
present status of and future trends in this rapidly growing<BR>field.</DIV>

<DIV>The conference focuses on the methodologies, techniques and tools<BR>that

approaches in Web Engineering, novel<BR>viewpoints and challenges on any aspect
of Web Engineering,<BR>reports on the implementation or deployment of advanced
Web<BR>projects in an industrial or application scenario, or descriptions<BR>of
Web Engineering education experiences.</DIV>

<DIV>Proceedings of the conference will be published by Springer Verlag<BR>in
its Lecture Notes in Computer Science series<BR>(<A

<DIV>Papers may not exceed 14 pages in the Springer LNCS format.<BR>Submitted
papers may be accepted either as full papers, or as<BR>short papers or poster
presentations. All the accepted submissions<BR>will be included in the
Conference Proceedings.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Additionally, an extended version of selected papers will be<BR>published
on a special issue of the Journal of Web Engineering<BR>after the
conference.</DIV>

solicit workshop proposals promoting highly interactive forums<BR>for exchanging
novel results, conducting in-depth discussions on a<BR>specific topic, or
coordinating work among representatives of a<BR>technical community. Workshop

2004 provides a forum for discussing ongoing work. We welcome<BR>poster reports
on in-progress projects, demonstrations of early<BR>versions of software tools
and products, invitations to cooperate<BR>on new project ideas, etc. Please
