Dear Colleagues,

Due to multiple requests we have extended the submission deadline till July 12, 2023!

We are looking forward to your submissions to the 19th International Symposium on Bioinformatics Research and Applications (ISBRA 2023) which will be held at the  Łukasiewicz Research Network - PORT Polish Center for Technology Development, Wrocław, Poland between October 9 - 12, 2023. 

ISBRA provides a forum for the exchange of ideas and results among researchers, developers, and practitioners working on all aspects of bioinformatics and computational biology and their applications. Submissions presenting original research are solicited in all areas of bioinformatics and computational biology, including the development of experimental or commercial systems. Details about ISBRA2023 can be found at https://mangul-lab-usc.github.io/ISBRA23/


IMPORTANT DATES (updated)

Submission deadline:  July  12, 2023

Notification of acceptance: August 11, 2023

Final version due: August 20, 2023

Conference: October 9-12, 2023

Please submit extended abstracts (up to 12 pages in Springer LNCS format) via the online submission system (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isbra2023)

Submission implies the willingness of at least one author to register and present at the symposium. The authors should choose one of the following tracks:


Track 1:
Submit up to 12 pages in LNCS format for (i) oral presentation at the conference and publication of the extended abstract in the Springer LNBI
proceedings and (ii) invitation to submit a 30-50%-extended version to ISBRA’23 special issues of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology
and Bioinformatics, Journal of Computational Biology, Tsinghua Science and Technology or FGCS (Pending Approval).


Track 2:
Submit up to 12 pages in LNCS format for (i) an oral presentation at the conference and (ii) an invitation to submit a full-length paper to the ISBRA’23 special
issues of BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Genomics, or Neurocomputing (Pending Approval).
