[DL] Postdoc / PhD position at University of Bremen

The following position is available at the Faculty for Mathematics and
Computer Science of the University of Bremen, subject to position
clearance:

1 Postdoctoral Researcher / Doctoral Research Assistant in
Computer Science (TVL-13, 35,000 to 50,000 Euro p.a. pre-tax)

The successful candidate will be associated with the group `theory of
artificial intelligence', which focusses on logic-based knowledge
representation (in particular description logics), modal logic in
computer science, and related areas. He/she will be carrying out
research in the mentioned subject areas, teach courses in computer
science (theoretical computer science and AI), and participate in the
supervision of Bachelor, MSc and PhD theses.

Candidates must have a degree in computer science or a related field
(diploma, MSc or PhD).  The position can be used for further scientific
qualification (PhD or habilitation).

As the University of Bremen intends to increase the proportion of

The position is available from March 2011 and is initally limited to
