[DL] position in AI at Carleton University

Subject to budgetary considerations, the Institute of Cognitive Science, 
Carleton University, Ottawa, invites applications for a tenure-track position, 
Assistant Professor of Cognitive Science, in the area of artificial 
intelligence and human cognition to commence July 1, 2006. A PhD and evidence 
of outstanding promise in research and in graduate and undergraduate teaching 
and supervision is required. The successful candidate will be expected to 
teach in our undergraduate and graduate programs, supervise graduate students, 
and develop a program of research leading to external funding and significant 
peer-reviewed publications. Experience with collaborative interdisciplinary 
work an asset; a $30M Centre for Research in Visualization and Simulation 
(V-Sim) will open in 2006. Carleton offers Canada's only free-standing, fully 
integrated PhD in Cognitive Science and a strong honours undergraduate degree.
