thought as
a gathering forum to meet, discuss and exchange experiences among all
those,
both in academia and industry, who are interested in database systems
and in all their broad range of applications.

- SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS -
SEBD 2007 invites submissions of research, industry and application
contributions as well as software demonstrations. Research papers,
describing
original ideas on the fundamental aspects of all forms of database
systems
and technology, are solicited. Moreover, extended abstract containing
descriptions of on-going projects or presenting results already
published are
also welcome. Research papers presenting original works should be at
most 12
pages long whereas extended abstract should be at most 8 pages long.
Papers can be written in English or Italian.
In order to allow a meaningful assignment of your paper to the most
suitable
reviewers, it is important that you indicate the content of the paper
with a

should
be clearly indicated on the submission form.
Accepted papers and extended abstracts will be published in the
proceedings
of the symposium.
SEBD 2007 submissions must be in electronic form in Portable Document
Format
(PDF) format. Papers must be formatted using the Lecture Notes in
Computer
Science style available at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html
Papers must be submitted electronically, please follow the
instructions that
can be found on the Web site of the symposium at
http://www.sebd.org/2007/index.html

- STUDENT AWARD -
The best paper authored only by PhD student(s) presenting the results
of PhD
research activities in the fields covered by the conference topics will
receive an award. The SEBD Steering Committee will be responsible for
the
selection.
